So im looking to buy 1 or 2 games on virtual console tonight..

VC games i already own:

Super Star Wars (all 3)
SMB 3
DK
DK Country
All 3D Zeldas
Super Smash Bros.
Super Street Fighter II
Sonic and Knuckles

So if some of you guys could recommend some for me i will love you forevz. Im into most kinds of games really, just looking for something thats fun and has a good few hours of gameplay. Im a big LOZ fan but never properly played any of the 2D versions, i dont know if they are any good compared to the 3D ones tbh. Just tell me what your favourites are.

Zelda I and A Link to the Past are both amazing games. Zelda II is also pretty darn amazing, though you might be off-put by how different it is. I'd definitely recommend just about every 2D Zelda game out there, having played every game in the series, minus the Oracle games on the GBC.

Thanks man, i bought A Link to the Past and its actually pretty good. Not as good as the 3D titles but still pretty good.

I know I'm late to the party, but Super C on VC or Contra:ReBirth on WiiWare are great side scrolling run and guns. And ALttP is great. Dr. Mario: Online Rx on WiiWare is a good time killer.
