As others have already said, your health is more important.
Don't work yourself into stress, just to buy a Wii U. A game console is a luxury, it's not a necessity.

You won't just drive yourself into physical exhaustion, but mental exhaustion, driving yourself into stress and then becoming prone to depression and also other physical problems, such as migraines, aches and pains, all sorts.

I don't mean to pry, but I have been in your position. I had a job, worked all day every day for about 6 weeks to try and earn enough money to go away to a convention (which is a luxury, not a necessity), and had a breakdown. I look back on it now as a stupid thing to do, because the convention runs twice a year anyway.
Hopefully hearing someone else's similar experience, will help decide what is best for you.

I have sold my Wii U, so if I deleted you from NN before I sold it, or haven't accepted your friend request since, this is why.

It really depends on if you can afford to buy the Wii U, if it isn't going to cause any financial issues then buy it, if you are unsure then you should not.

The pros of being self employed is that I have enough to fuel my game playing / collecting. If you're torn because you have to sacrifice other games to save for the Wii U...look at it this way...if the Wii U sells like the Wii or better... you may not see one for a long time If you miss out...all those games though... aren't going going to miss them. If anything they will just be cheaper When you get around to them lol

Fair enough. As already mentioned its a luxury and not a necessity. Besides it can always be purchased later on down the road when your circumstances allow it.

If your old enough to have a job then you shouldn't have to come to an internet forum to get advice on your financial situation. Especially over a video game system.

It's upto you, you can either have the Wii U at launch and then retrospectively purchase the games you want to play (which will become cheaper) or cancel and wait until march or when ever to purchase the Wii U, mainly because it will be better vlue for money. The Wii U price won't drop but some game prices will, and since it's well after launch, retailers are more inclined to have better bundles.

In the UK there are no bundles for launch on Wii U other than the ZombiU and Premium SKU, nothing retailer specific, there was nothing like that for the 3DS at launch (yeah you had to purchase a game for the handheld, there was no discount).

When I bought my Wii I got it for £230 (Wii costs £180) ended up getting 3 games with it, and that was in february 2007 (2 months after launch). The 3DS here ended up getting free game bundles after E3 2011 well before the big world wide price drop.

That's the UKs games market in a nutshell. So I'm not sure what it is like where you are but those are the for and against arguements that I am presenting to you.
