While everyone else was getting their PS4s, I got an oboe.

 

 

No offense to the PS4 (which I will want to get someday), but I don't take that back!

Well, I recently went to and volunteered at an anime con.  I didn't spend all that much.

I got a Madoka charm/keychain, a ticket to the upcoming Madoka movie (I had to drive to the store after the con to get it), a compilation of the old Samurai Jack comics, and an awesome dragon print (signed).

I heard some people noticed a few improvements, hinge, raised power button etc over the 3ds xl. Congrats on the beauty!

The whole system just seems to be designed better than the original 3ds, and the image quality doesn't seem to have taken a hit either.

Hopefully it will tide me over to the 29th when I get 3d world

Got this in the e-mail today.  Amazon had it 50% off.  Reviews are pretty good and it doesn't require tinkering with the Gamepad, which I like.  Should give ~2x the battery life

Oh, well it must be because they have a new product, the UBoost that I got today.  It's nice because you don't need to use a screwdriver to remove the old battery.  You just attach it to the back of the gamepad.

That's a third party selling it for $19.99 (fulfilled by Amazon) but you can choose to buy it for $10.97 on backorder (ships whenever they get it back in stock).

I have a charging cradle, too.  The gamepad still fits into the cradle with the Uboost (the bottom of it is made to fit into the gamepad cradle).
