As many of you may know, G4TV announced today that its top shows X-Play, and Attack of The Show will be ending. The departure will go into effect before the end of the year, with a Two-Month farewell special airing beginning on Tonight's episode. X-Play almost managed a decade long run, beginning in 2003, and with the departure of Adam Sessler, the ending was inevitable. AOTS began in 2005, with its current hosts being Candace Bailey, Sara Underwood, and a round of guest hosts running until the end of the year. The show recently lost Kevin Pereira. Many of you may be glad that it is over, however myself and many others have taken this news to heart and are deeply saddened. To anyone on both of the crews, Candace, Sara, Morgan, Blair, and more, we will miss you deeply, especially myself.

For those who don't know - G4 is completely changing there image. This is why the cancellations are happening. They are moving away from the geeky tech side of things to go more mainstream and add to the already littered line up of garbage on TV.

gr used to be good. and aots was good until around a year ago when they started grtting inconsistant with thier cast. xplay was never good for me, too biased.

I loved AOTS, but when Kevin left it was just ok. G4 is nice ( though they usually focus on the games I'm not interested in). So it's sad to see this two shows go, since they're the only things I watched on G4. It's sad to see G4 move away from gaming, especially since they probably will not cover E3 or cons anymore. I can see this turning into an MTV situation. Moving away from the channels roots into something horrifying.
