I hope they don't make the eShop too kiddy-looking. The goal of the Wii U is to appeal to more core gamers and having childsih-looking menus could lower the credibility of Wii U as a core gaming system like PS3 and XBox 360. I know Wii U has plenty of family and child oriented games but they need to meet the core gamers halfway as well in terms of an appealing interface for older audiences.

Since we are on the topic, are all the launch titles gunna be available for purchase on day 1 in the eShop? I was thinking why not start taking advantage of the Deluxe Digital Promotion right away? Also does anyone know if we will get Club Nintendo points from digital purchases or just in retail copies?

Judging by what Rich George said in the IGN unboxing they do, at least most should. Of the three games they showed New Super Mario Bros. U and Ninja Gaiden did but Nintendo Land didn't. It possible the latter didn't as its bundled with the console and the console itself may well come with points. Maybe if you buy Nintendo Land separately it will.
