I could be wrong but this looks and performs way better than the 360 and ps3 version in fact it appears to be using their versions in the cut scenes so their is actually a drop in quality when the cut scenes appear.

there was a big patch when i loaded up sunday....i have not hit any bad spots yet..

Don't have a wiiu yet tried to see if they had any in walmart but they only had a the basic models and I'm not going to buy that.

I rented the 360 version and liked and and bought the wii U version and its way better. The graphics are more crisp. The game pad is taking some getting used to but other than that its better IMO

What the hell is the point of having the extras option then on the main menu? It's for a 19 digit DLC code. We need to complain to Ubisoft, so we can get the DLC that was meant to be given to us. Because I'll be damned if I have to pay later on for DLC the other consoles got for free!!

As far as the Gamestop bonus this is the email I got back because they delayed my poweruprewards points. "In response to your email request, we have added 1980 points to your account. Assassin's Creed 3 scores triple points: http://www.gamestop.com/e" One could safely assume that that was the bonus.

Well, IGN seems to disagree with you, folks.

Playing Assassin's Creed III on Wii U's Game Pad is a tad disappointing -- it looks a bit low-res compared to other console ports. If you use the Game Pad as a support device, the helpful mini-map gives you a solid look at a large local space, identifying enemy, poster, and objective locations in your hands. Pressing the touch-screen to whistle for your horse means keeping two weapons in Connor's weapon slots, so that's a worthwhile convenience. Beyond that, Assassin's Creed III for Wii U is functionally identical to the original.
