I'm glad you brought up the subject of fixed-function. The Wii and 360 would have to be compared as if they were in a fixed-function environment. If both used programmable shaders, there may possibly be ways of comparing the overall chip in this area, but they don't. I believe a doubling of shaders increases performance by 33% or so.
But that's when programmable shaders are being used.
Are people over-praising the Wii U?

and thats just it and what nintendo mindest is. they dont care about all the specs talk. they are gonna say here is what we have what can you do with it. developers only want things there way. the Wii U was designed to be small, efficient, BALANCED and powerful.
