They simply say it's X GPU, while not saying how they came to that conclusion.How so?

While a little vague, it still makes me wonder how they would know that. But it does seem likely considering the weak CPU. A bit of a trade-off.

They simply misunderstood a little logical deduction, meant to be taken more logically than literally, and called it a confirmation because... Theyre zelda informer.
