Do you think there will be a Zelda-edition Wii U? In anticipation, I started a savings fund just for that. If Nintendo decides not to, I'll be crushed (and I'll probably end up never buying a Wii U).

If they do a Metroid edition, I'm sure I wouldn't be able to resist buying that instead, but seeing as Legend of Zelda is more of a flagship franchise for Nintendo, a Zelda console seems more likely.

im pretty sure they will end up doing that kind of things in the future, but right now theres no wii u special edition, the wii had a few ones but the coolest were fan-made custom consoles... is there any official themed wiis any cooler than this??? i dont think so

yea theres a TON more, but the official ones are so sad, only bold colors , black, red, light blue etc..., the latest official really cool themed console i remember from nintendo is the N64 pikachu edition... the rest as i said are only different bold colors to choose not anything like this

I don't think a special edition would make or break me wanting the black one, simply because I don't want to wait. However, the Zelda 3ds was the biggest reason I wanted a 3ds, and I made sure I got that one on amazon after they were sold out.

Sometimes I feel that's exactly how the conversations go. I really wish that Animal Crossing XL comes out when 'New Leaf' makes it way to North America. I mean it is a thing of beauty!

Zelda Special Edition systems is a trend seen in the portable category... not so much the home console division. Honestly, I would NOT get your hopes up. The closet thing I can think of is maybe a Gold Edition. Maybe. Mayyyyyybe.

I really hope so, I wouldn't wait though...worst case you trade in or sell your original... .I always special edition consoles though for collecting purposes.
