Well it looks like we can assume that the Wii U has sold in excess of a million worldwide.
Currently playing: AC 3, ZombiU, BLOPS 2, Nintendoland, NSMBU, Nano Assault Neo, Halo 4, Darksiders 2, and Far Cry 3

Yeah they have crazy 2 day numbers, I don't quite understand why they separate UK sales from the rest of Europe

That will be tough, but I'm dying to see how the NA and Europe numbers look on January 1st.

Well, they have the rest of 2012 up to March 2013 to make 5.5 million sales. They could make it, they just have to expose the system to the public some more.

I just read that they are up to 1.1m. That includes the Japan numbers but is only through 12/1 in NA, Europe, and Australia. probably more like 1.5m right now.

UK is not EUROPE... they just coop in poppulation and trade laws...

Got ya, I don't know how it works over there, it just seems like they lump the other countries together and keep the UK separate, so I was just wondering

Wrong. The UK is part of Europe. Of it wasn't it wouldn't be part of the EU or one of the founder members. Itiis classified officially as a European country.

This is actually kind of low considering it launched with Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate and the beta for Dragon Quest X HD

Yeah and along those lines MH was not even the top selling game.....Mario then MH. The Japanese seem to like their handhelds better than their home consoles.

^^^ That's because the majority of Japanese people spend their lives on public transport and the houses they live in are tiny, Not many of them have huge TV's to play consoles on.

Japan could be waiting for the Christmas bundles. Over 300k is still good, I'm pretty sure it exceeded Nintendo's expectations.

It could have sold better U.S. They need better advertisements, people don't want to buy a 300$ add on.

That's Nintendo's projection on how much they will sell by then. If they don't hit it then it could be troublesome.

But anyway, 1/100 of the way to hitting Wii sales numbers :P
