On top of how otherwise useless it is, it's slow too. Well done, Nintendo.
Like everything else on the console.

What's this with the millionth time thing ? I'm well aware there is an update coming that doesn't mean it should have been like that in the first place. You seem to be implying its alright as there is an update coming. Wrong. It's not alright. Not to mention I shouldn't have to download yet another third update in less then a month, especially when its probably going to take me the best part of an hour to download and install it.

Some people just fail to listen to logical reason and are blinded by frustration. What's this with the millionth time thing ? I take it you're talking about yourself as it sure doesn't apply to me. Why don't you make the statement to all the other people out there who agree with me on how slow the UI and downloads are.

If I wanna play games, I'll play on my Wii U.
Consoles should just focus on gaming.I know they're trying to make sport shows and such more interactive, but its nonsense imo.
Nintendo tv, no thank you...

I agree. The 360 dashboard is cluttered with nonsense and tons and tons of apps that focus nothing on gaming, and more on stuff I can do with a TV/laptop/any other electronic device.

I have not read, nor will I likely read what everyone has said in this thread. Though what do you think Netflix is really going to add that you can not already do on the Wii/U (Outside of TVii) or any other device? It is only a service to stream video or rent physical copies of movies from. As for other services, if you refer to say Hulu or Amazon Prime same thing in the long run as Netflix, but one of them has advertisements and the other you can buy digital copies of movies. Only thing that is to come from TVii on these services would be quicker access to posting on Miiverse and maybe see what your friend was watching (If the friends list does not already do that similar to say the 360 or something. Don't know as I do not have friends that use Netflix on Wii U). Not really the most ground breaking add-on to make one jump into TVii over the actually applications themselves. (On that note it seems sort of backwards they did not just bundle all that crap into TVii to begin with. Instead of sort of splitting the community into halves).Guize. TVii isn't finished yet, I don't think... Netflix support and other junk isn't available yet, so hold your judgment, K? K.

It consolidates and cross references streaming video services and live tv into one interactive master program guide.
It also replaces the remote for your cable box, as well as plugs into social networks.
