It is indeed. Oh and if you want to watch some footage, don't watch the beginning of the game since it starts slowly but then it gets so intense.

I'm so pumped for the game to release in the US

I'm creating a clan with another guy, wanna be part of it?

Never played a game in the series...

You're missing something great man... Give it a try.

Judging from what all my friends tell me ....YES i'll get it

Dang you have friends who know the series? I know only two guys who know the game at school...

i will wait to see how it plays, early prevews made it look like a oldergame remade for the wiiU, so doubtful.

It's basically Monster Hunter Tri for the Wii with a lot of new content, so much that the new content flooded the actual game, making a whole new game. The number of big monsters doubled I think, and weapons that weren't available in the game will be on the next one. The mechanics are great though, so you should give it a go, you'll not regret it. Oh, and the last game had the best online on the Wii, pushing it to the limits. This game should be no difference.

I don't think clans really work in this game.

Trophy Cards are classy too! LOLZIGZAGOON

I cannot wait for this one. i actually picked up MH Tri on my Wii a little before I got my Wii U. I put like 10 hours into it, but when I heard about this I just sold it immediately to wait for this.

i wont give any credit to this game... It should be monsters, not prehistoric animals! And because I love animals, i would never buy a game that the only thing that is about, killing animals.

I've briefly played a demo of one of the PSP games and its not my cup of tea. I have absolutely no desire to waste my money on this as there are too many other games being released in the next few months that I have far more interest in.

Nice! Gotta get a Wii U now... LOL

I don't think clans really work in this game.

They do, as in you gather great hunters, you hunt the monsters online, you get max weps and armors and then you get a sig and (important) you record. Then people know you and that's nice.

Wat? Are we talking about the same game? They're more like dragons or dinosaurs willing to kill you, not innofensive kitten. They are monsters. You have seen the one hour footage haven't you? That's only the beginning of the game. By the way, do you play any shooter?

Missing option:
How much do you like the franchise?

I have played it a little but not really formed a strong opinion either way.

Well... It's a real time action RPG (meaning that it's not turn-based combat style). You basically go out and slay amazing monsters (which are actually in most of the cases dragon or reptilian-like. Once you slay it, you carve it and get some of his body parts so you can make armors and weapons. There are tons of weapons and weapon classes (Great sword, Sword and Shield, Lances etc. but also bow and arrow and bowgun (which is basically a gun). The goal is simple, but dang its a great game and you can easily put more than 200 hours on it. It's quest-based, most of the time, but you can also do free hunting. There is both singleplayer and multiplayer online with a really strong online infrastructure. You could watch some Monster Hunter Tri (the Wii version) footage and gameplay. It's worth it. Oh and the quests offline make a storyline somehow.

Im probably getting it... Is this an Rpg? What would you compare it to?

It's pretty unique. That's why it's so great. Do you know Terra? It's a korean ripoff of the game.
