Being shocked! How could someone ever watch the shamefully awful adaptation of Umineko! It would be better to read plot summaries than that garbage!(That's exaggeration, plot summaries are spoilers, that anime is spoilers with pretty pictures ), Well, I guess if you've never read/don't have access to the VNs... But just don't expect anything to make sense, ok?

I do but I've only got the first bit, I haven't got the other bits at the moment but the first bit was really good. I plan to get access to the other parts soon.

The anime isn't that bad, lol, It's different sure but I've seen worse. But I'll trust your judgement on it since you have the title of Umeniko super fan at the moment

Actually, I haven't watched it all the way through, so everything I say comes from reviews. People who haven't read the VNs complain about how little sense everything makes, and how much of an idiot battler is. People who have watched it say that they cut out most of the mystery parts for more gore screen time, and that they didn't give enough time for each arc.

So it's perfectly fine to watch it, just don't expect it to give you all the details.
