I hope you know you can change the Thread Title yourself by editing the OP. You don't have to wait for a mod to do it for you.

Press "Edit" on your first post and at the bottom there will be a "Use Full Editor" button. Click on that and it will allow you to change the Title.

lol, Nintendo won't allow it to be published on PS3/360. Just common sense.

honostly i think nintendo should team up with sony, pull as much games to share between the 2 from xbox as possible, until MS removes any/all we get the best version policies. then allow freegame. as for funding. funding games to go on your consul is fine.

Considering what happened the first time they tried this, don't hold your breath. ;)

before sony entered videogames.

i said work together to get more/better games on their systems. not develop/help eachothers systems directly.

You said you didn't know what happened the first time and I provided a link that explains what occurred. After a falling out like that, why would anyone think they would want to help each others' platforms get better software support? That makes no sense.

Isn't that different though? If they were still in the business of manufacturing consoles, they would dedicate their resources solely to their own machines. They wouldn't try to figure out ways to help their competitors improve their software output. Unless, I'm misunderstanding your point...

How does a situation like this work? I mean, is there a contract that restricts them (Platinum Games) from seeking another publisher to go multiplatform in the future? I assume something like that may not be public knowledge but it seems like a possibility.

This statement is false. The previous statement is true.

RIP in peace Nintendo.

I think this was pretty obvious to anyone paying attention to either of these games. Guess some people needed the extra confirmation, though.

Bayonetta 2 to go Multiplatform is a choice Nintendo needs to make, not Platinum Games.

Platinum Games designer, Hideki Kamiya, took to Twitter to announce his frustrations with the frequent multi-platform questions. He released the following statement

“We are a developer. Nintendo are the ones kind enough to fund and publish our The Wonderful 101 and Bayonetta 2 projects. So if Nintendo says, ‘We are publishing Bayonetta 2 on PS3/360,’ then it will happen. So please go ask them, not us.”

Well, i like this guy, shows some respect!

The article said Razor's Edge was coming to PS360. I thought that was just a rumor.

It isn't particularly difficult to see when you know that Nintendo owns the publishing rights to those games. Essentially they own those games. Not even Sega, who owns the IP, has any control on Bayonetta 2.
