In a year they'll be saying "wow. We are so awesome that we've unlocked a new universe of potential from the u, omni, and x.

Are you familiar with Crytek, Yerli has been remarkably consistent with his comments regarding technical capabilities and Crytek has been the best for many, many years.

Honestly what do you think will be able to touch this in the next two years from a graphics stand point? The only thing I can think of that may stand a chance in some areas is the next Battlefield, or maybe Metro Last Light. But I highly doubt it will up the visuals much beyond Battlfield 3.

Crysis 3 is not coming to the wiiU. Crytek since the announcement of the wiiU have seemed less then impressed with it.

Uh, actually, crytek said theyd love to, but its not their choice, they said EA said no.

They may say that now but watch some interviews when they first announced its release, they where essentially saying "lol no". Besides Crytek funds and develops there own games if I am not mistaken, it is no way up to EA which platforms it is released. I believe EA does hold the rights to the IP though, so who knows. But Crytek did not seem at all interested when they announced the game.

No, they cant afford to publish and fund their own games, which is why ea has control over the ip....

Yes they are going to a ftp model all within five years, and there may be another Crysis but it may not be a fps. EA owns the IP which I said. However Crytek from what we can see can afford to develop there own games (look how many dev teams they have been buying up), and I seem to recall them talking about being self funded a few years ago (maybe I am mixing up what they meant by this, or maybe it was another dev, but I have it in my mind that they where indeed investing there own money in there games, shall look this up ).

Well, they do license their engine technology. Thats a source of funding.
When they begin switching to free to play, they will definately be self funded and published.... Big games like crysis, they typically need publishers for. Thats a huge order.
