You should try getting a release on Tasty then. That channel seems to be more friendly towards upcoming artists.

I did a thing. I didn't work on it for very long because it's just supposed to be part of a tutorial I'm doing in my speech class, but I'm still happy with it lol.

Overall, a very good track. But it kinda sounds like you've ripped off many sounds from Virtual Riot??
Yeah maybe some sidechain for the impacts would be good...
I won't deny that it does have a lot of VRish sounds... I'm not using any samples, all the growls were made from scratch, though I did loosely base them off of a Seamless tutorial on one of VR's old growls.
They started out as a lame FM growlish thing (https://clyp.it/yshhvdds), then I added a vowel filter (automated high pass and high peak) and it sounded like this (https://clyp.it/3aj0pzmt)... It's the only method to make growls I know so far, lol... I even have another MORE VRish growl I wanna use in this song... (https://clyp.it/tmhq2jjn) Just the same concept but the main oscillator is a square instead of a sine.

So did you remake that from scratch? It sounds really good lol. I've always wanted to make some sounds like Laszlo, but I don't have sylenth, which seems to produce the best sounding saws and plucks. I'm poor right now so I can't buy it

so we have more footage, and this shows without a doubt how bad and lazy this port/remaster/whatever you want to call it. If you can look me straight in the eyes and tell me that doesn't look atrocious I will safely say you're blinded by fanboyism. Yes it was fine in 2006. This isn't 2006. It's just higher res textures nothing more, nothing less and jarring polygons make you want to cry.

mixed with

Of course there's some EQ and probably some reverb on there, too.

Inital first impression feedback on this?
I feel like the kick after the drop threw me off a little. Like the build up was good, but the kick wasn't hype enough. I imagined a clap and a kick going at the same time. Maybe it's just me being crazy though. It is 1:23am and I'm tired and such lol.
