I may get a ton of hate for this but I think SSB4 will be just a bland rehash. My reasons of thinking this is that when characters are announced they are just returns and Nintendo makes a big deal about them. That makes me think there will be even less fighters! Plus they took out story mode making less substance already. I smell a downgrade. Let the hate begin.
That's not true. How exactly are Nintendo making a big deal about them by quietly announcing them on a website most people don't visit regularly and then speaking no words on the topic except maybe in a minor interview. They're not making a big deal about these characters at all. The characters they made a big deal about were the new characters who were shown at E3.

You guys are making too big of a deal anyway. I really only consider this a loss of one game. There are 3 that could(well they all could have been but you know what I mean...probably) have been on Wii U but Assassins Creed Liberation HD is only on PS3 Xbox 360 and PC, it's not on any of the new consoles. Child of Light is only coming to the newer consoles and it includes Wii U. The only one they really skipped Wii U on was valiant hearts.

I've never played brawl with anyone on this forum...I think...oh no wait...dang that was a long time ago. We met in the chat but then I was lagging so I quit...but I still totally won that duel.

You don't cannibalise your current sales for announcements you've yet to make, unless you're Sony or MS.
Though Iwata did promise to quit if Nintendo don't turn a profit.
I hope he does quit soon.
I don't remember him making that promise and he himself denied that claim.

So, the key word here (and the rest of the internet it seems) is calling anything "overrated" when you dont like it? (be it games, movies, books, etc. ANYTHING can be called overrated and constroversy will show up. Its a never ending cycle)
Kamiya and Platinum Games, besides being relatively young in the industry, really know what they do (look at their curriculum), and they arent conventional at all. This game is pretty ambicious (damn, they even game Kamiya his own Nintendo Direct, which never happened ever!), and for action game fans, its full of fun! Maybe if you dont like/suck at- action games, its obviously not for you. And thats acceptable: i dont like FPS's, i suck at them, that's why i avoid them.
But the whole "meh i couldnt find the tutorial, i died in the first mission, too much on the screen: therefore its overrated" really makes no sense, its pointless and laughable at best.
Also, calling something overrated is passing your opinions as facts, and no one will take that.
I think I can call games overrated when people call them the reason to own a console.

I just thought I should ask this.
I'm looking at the whining that the Wii U won't be getting games like Call of duty and such and I realized: I personally don't care.
My Wii collection is:
SpoilerBlue are exclusive third parties, red are multiplatform. The only multiplatform I like is Sonic Unleashed.
I'd be perfectly happy with just Nintendo games. I did have an Xbox, but I found I didn't really care for any of the games available.
What about you?
The Wii U will be getting games like Call of Duty. Your argument is invalid.
