Also I love Pikmin 2 way more than I did the first game. I am a proud owner of a black label copy on GameCube (relatively rare but not sure how valuable it is).

With that said I have very little reason to buy this at launch. I think I rather wait for a much larger lineup of games to choose from. Besides, I grew weary of the New Super Mario Bros. games and this one for the Wii U doesn't catch my interest in the slightest bit. Give me a Zelda game and I am sold.

This.People over analyse things these days, Learn to enjoy life seriously. Like all those people going "OMG da Wii U isnt 8 timez quicker than PS3740 etc," or "OHMRG NAWWWW da touch screen on da gamepad isnt a superdooper whooper one"
Enjoy the console for what it is, a games machine, something to play and have fun on.
Anyway my overall experience on the PS3 has been positive. It is a console with a lot of gems that I enjoy playing like 3D Dot Game Heroes, Tales of Graces f, Disgaea 3 & 4, Demon's Souls, the Hyperdimension Neptunia games, the Atelier series, and the White Knight Chronicles series. All I can say it is the system is far from perfect but so is every system on the market. If you want the best of all worlds you buy all systems. Sad but true.

Maybe for the masses if or when most first world countries get blanketed in fiber internet connections and free of bandwidth caps...but not for this guy. I simply refuse to touch "cloud" anything with a ten foot pole. Why would I want to give someone control over something I paid for? And believe me I can live without any of these future games because I have many other hobbies, and there is always a backlog of retro games to play that a company can never take from my cold, dead bloody hands.

No, and if it does I am confident Nintendo will cover you if there is a widespread issue with the system. Look at the DS Lite and the broken hinge, Nintendo eventually caught on and offered free repairs regardless of warranty, while it took a class action lawsuit for MS to extend the warranties to 3 years for the 360's RRoD problem.

I have been waiting for a home console version of a full blown Pokemon RPG for a long time. Games like Pokemon Colloseum on the GameCube didn't cut it as the story was, if memory serves me right, very light on the Pokemon RPG elements. I never played a home console Pokemon game since Colloseum, but then again I overlook the majority of Pokemon spinoffs and never read about them online. I never even played a Mystery Dungeon game, either and some Pokemon fans say they are good.
Actually, they might. Nintendo did it before with the GameCube and GBA, I don't see how they wouldn't release a 3DS Player accessory given the Wii U will have a controller combined with a touch screen. Add 3D support for the 3DS games and this should work.i think they wont muahhahha

When I am going to buy a Wii U it will be the deluxe. I prefer a white Wii U, but meh, a color is a color, I want the additional content that is associated with that model.
