This is a few of the same reasons I'm selling mine on. I know it's early days yet, but the console just isn't for me. I've played it like 3 times since I've had it, and I've had more fun doing drawing notes to friends and communities than playing any Wii U games :/

In Topic: So it's odd seeing this many systems jsut sitting on shelves.

They made a mistake in calling it a Wii U. Sony and Microsoft are safe in having their console names just going up a number each time they make a new one, but Nintendo needed to just rename this to be honest. That's why people think it's some kind of add on/upgraded Wii, or even just the same thing.

Didn't happen the same for me. Even connected to the internet and to friends, and like 2 days into having the Wii U, I had those ugly icons. Anyways, I hadn't used it since the weekend, turned it on earlier, and it had those game icons instead. No idea what the actual fix is for that, I guess it's random.

In Topic: Club Nintendo - 1000 stars for Zombi U pack (UK/EU)

I've managed to register my copy of Zombi U that came with the console and got 500 stars for that. I linked my e-shop account to my Club Nintendo account yesterday and now my consoles appears under registered devices but when I go to do the survey it takes me to the page where you have to type in the box why you bought the system and then click on next it gives me a 404 error message. Anyone have any ideas or should I just call Nintendo customer service tomorrow.

I only got 250 o_o
Also, I was getting the same error. Next day, it worked fine.

I am feeling a little disappointed in the Wii U myself and considering selling it. It was overhyped, just like the Wii.
