#178648 eShop options for releases in bundled with hardware/software at retail?

Posted by Guy Fieri on 03 March 2013 - 11:12 AM

Games with additional peripherals will not be available on the eShop. But one exception was the launch title Sing Party. The game was made available on the eShop, but only due to the fact that Nintendo themselves were officially selling extra microphones for the game. But Skylanders and Disney Infinity don't have any other official ways to get their peripherals. Activision and Disney will not be selling extra portal devices. And since there's no way to get them besides buying the game, they will stay retail only. As for Wii Fit U, I'm not sure. Nintendo could always sell additional pedometers, for those who own the original Wii Fit/Plus and plan on buying Wii Fit U digitally.

Oh my GOD E.A should just stop with the butthurt and put Crysis 3 on the Wii U!!! I guess it's a little too late, sales wouldn't be good. Nintendo should come to Crytek for a third party exclusive instead running on CryEngine3!

Let's NOT boycott EA here. Need for Speed Most Wanted U is one of the first games published by EA that made an effort. Let's buy the game to show our support that EA games can and will sell, so a solid business model can't be ignored anymore.

#177870 If the next nintendo was a beast machine

Nintendo HAVE released a beast machine, just nothing shows exactly what it can do yet. Imagine their next console was purely based on specs and had a generic controller due to costs, people would say where's the gameplay?

This is Nintendo's first HD console and the leap from Wii to Wii U is larger than Xbox to 360.
