Would you buy a Knuckles' Chaotix remake?

02 August 2013 - 04:28 PM

Personally I would love to see a 2.5D remake of this *relatively* forgotten 32X gem, with the characters having their modern designs and a remixed soundtrack. Sadly, I doubt that Sega would actually go for it; they seem to prefer that this game never existed.

Wonky GamePad Magnetometer?

26 July 2013 - 02:58 PM

I got Game & Wario and noticed that some of the mini-games (namely Pirates and Arrow) tend to control a bit strangely as they go on, like the GamePad goes out-of-sync and can't tell where it is anymore (the other games, and everything else about the GamePad, seem to work); has anybody else had issues with this?

Xbox One Is the New Sega Saturn?

07 July 2013 - 02:49 PM

•Both are big, hulking, black machines (at least bigger than their competition)

•Both by companies that had successful machines this/last gen

•Both predecessor consoles have less-than-stellar add-ons

•Both are $100 more than their main competitor

•Both have fumbled pre-release announcements and decisions

•Both have their main competitors destined for greatness (or at least massive popularity)

Segata Sanshiro won't be here to save you, Xbone.

Possible next-gen console prices

08 June 2013 - 02:19 PM

I think that it is entirely possible for Microsoft and possibly Sony to sell their consoles for under four-hundred dollars. Note how I underlined the word "consoles", their online services cost money (especially Xbox Live). Perhaps if they price their consoles at about five-hundred-and-fifty dollars, but offer them for three-hundred-and-seventy-five dollars if you pay in advance for a three-year subscription to Xbox Live, or maybe third party services such as Netflix, Hulu Plus, or maybe services unannounced at the moment. I can see them doing this, and it could sadly cause serious problems for the Wii U as it stands.

Why people say Wii U is "current gen", and why they're complete dumb_____.

01 June 2013 - 02:05 PM

These people claimed that the Wii was weaker than the original Xbox, and still called the Wii next-gen; The Wii U is clearly better than any current consoles and yet they're trying to tell us that it's on the same level (if not lower than) the PS360. The Wii U uses PowerPC architecture (like current machines), but meaty enough to be competitive with x86 machines on the horizon. They take that the PowerPC guts means it's weak, but in reality it produces sufficiently similar results in a different manner (sadly, this'll screw us over with 3rd parties who can't be bothered with actual porting). They say that because the Wii U cannot play Blu-Ray discs, it's last-gen compared to the PS3. The Wii U uses modified Blu-Rays (or at least Blu-Ray capacity discs) that read differently as a form of copy protection (and don't most of already have at least 3 things that can play Blu-Rays, or even have On-Demand?). And using the "it came earlier than the others" argument would mean that the Dreamcast would be with the PSone and N64 (an idea that'll get you laughed out of the room anywhere, any day of the week). I say we let them have their repetitive SBPBF (Shoot brown people because freedom) games (they say Nintendo is repetitive? Super Mario Sunshine has more variety than the entire CoD franchise!) while we enjoy actual innovation!
