Um, the title and original post are wrong. No scientist talks about a "multi-universe", it's just "multiverse".
Just like a UNIverse is one, a MULTIverse contains several universes.

According to some recent theories, there's no such thing as a timeLINE. It's like a tree with branches, each one dividing into more branches at every point of decision.
So, when you go back in time and prevent something that (in your reference frame) had happened before, you don't change anything. You just wind up in another branch where that event didn't happen, in the same universe which you never left.

I made a seal of approval last year. But I found it too simplistic after a while.
So I started making another one, and randomly decided to make a seal of DISapproval for the fun of it.
Result: the approval seal you see in my profile, and the DISapproval seal in my avatar.
