About Me

I'm a brainless Bio student, fan of SciFi and Fantasy for the most part.
I like to think I'm fairly good at visual "art", but I think writing is my true purpose, my raison d'être.

Oh, and I care about people. Like, a lot.
I even lose a night's sleep sometimes, because I'm upset at the troubles a friend is having.
Though most of the time, what keeps me awake is simply my inability to stop imagining things (mostly story ideas).

About writing... I mostly submit prose on public forums and websites. But I do write poetry as well (always with meter and rhyme, none of that "free verse" stuff) and a few valuable friends have received gift poems from me before.

I now have a snitload of different characters, three of which I can call my personas: Darry the cat-human mix (REALLY old), Mykel "Brainy" the yoshi, Darren Toprak the chinese dragon. And the latter appears in my fantasy series in progress, Mythospective.

Banner (beta)

As the title says, this will be fixed (aliases in general, and the nunchuk in particular) before I call it a proper banner. I just wanted you guys' opinion on the layout and whatnot.
I hope the message in it is clear enough, but I'll make it clearer if need be.

Bugs, glitches, issues

What the title says.

I noticed this while using the full reply editor only; it doesn't happen if I use the Quick Reply feature, nor when typing the original post in a thread.

When I hit Enter once, there's no new paragraph; what I type afterwards is put right after what I was typing before, without a space nor anything. And when I press Enter more than once, the system always ignores one of the hits.

Suggestions on the forums, maybe the blog, skin etc.

I think it'd be a good idea to find some background pictures or something.
Perhaps the silhouette of a Wii with a question mark. Cuz some mystery is always awesome on any forums. XD

I noticed that the acronym of my username, Fiction Scientist aka FS, sounded exactly like the Turkish name of this location. So I decided to adopt the English version of that name on these forums.

For those who don't know me: I'm a brainless biology student pretending to be a scientist, as well as a terrible Yoshi artist. But I also happen to be a licensed author and willful thinker.
That, and I'm Feld0's self-proclaimed "online brother" who's rarely present when he needs support. :mrgreen: *yoshi egg'd*

Just felt like registering, because... eh, I dunno. The original Wii is the only console I have, and I'm not even a regular gamer on that one.
Guess I'll just hang around, rather posting in sections that aren't related to gaming. You may still see a few posts from me in the gaming forums.
That, and I might bring some much needed balance. Just in case your not-so-average Feldian genie needs a troll to counter his maturity and intelligence.
