#135173 US buddies who games have you got and so far, what would your rate them?

Posted by ianh05 on 20 November 2012 - 11:23 PM in Wii U Games and Software

ac3 ___8.5/10
blops2___9/10
zombiu___8/10
nintendoland___6.5/10
wii u ____10/10
also im an older gamer if it matters...

"mature games" 8-9, "fun mini-game compilation" 6.5? people should rate games on what they are not what their personal taste is >.> From what I've seen I'd rate nintendoland the best game so far for the Wii U. The variety, gameplay, Music, Graphics, Depth and replay value are all there.

#135171 About 13 hours of single player nintendoland footage!

Posted by ianh05 on 20 November 2012 - 11:19 PM in Wii U Games and Software

lots of metroid blast and donkey kongs crash course! includes new game plus footage of DKCC and bonus missions footage from metroid blast.

videos can be found here:

I hope this shows people just how deep the game is and how long you can spend on all the attractions.

#135170 Looking for complete playthrough of NintendoLand attractions.

sure is, warchamp7 spent like 5+ hours on metroid blast alone and I don't think he mastered all the bonus missions yet. When I made this topic I didn't know the solo player games had new game + modes etc.

#134441 Warchamp7 going for nintendoland mastery!

Posted by ianh05 on 20 November 2012 - 07:14 AM in Wii U Games and Software

Wow. I wish him luck.

That Ice Ridley... oh poo, that was supposed to be in spoiler tags.

lol he's facing ridley and ice ridley at the same time right now.

#134364 Warchamp7 going for nintendoland mastery!

Posted by ianh05 on 20 November 2012 - 05:29 AM in Wii U Games and Software

someone has finally seen just how deep nintendoland is and he is trying to get 100% completion for all mini-games. He has a controller cam set up, good sound and no trolls/haters in chat.

He has discovered new levels not seen before in DK's crash course and more! he has completed metroid blast 100% but still hasn't done the bonus missions (yes there's more then 20 missions lol).

2.5/5, yet to see it for myself so I dunno how deep the single player is but the multiplayer looks fun.

#134027 Joystick Zombi u Review

Posted by ianh05 on 19 November 2012 - 08:11 PM in Wii U Games and Software

a few bad reviews, many good reviews. Everyone I've watched play it has been having fun even with the stale melee combat which isn't bad enough to make the game bad as a whole.

#134026 Trying to narrow down my list of games to get my hands on...

Posted by ianh05 on 19 November 2012 - 08:07 PM in Wii U Games and Software

ZombiU
Darksiders II
Assassin's Creed 3 or Black Ops 2

#133850 Wii U hackers supposedly find unannounced Wii U titles

Posted by ianh05 on 19 November 2012 - 04:17 PM in Wii U Games and Software

http://wiiuhacks.com/
Taken from article:

"Yoshi’s Island Wii U and Soul Hackers, ”Metal Gear Solid” and “Resident Evil”, and a new Pokemon were leaked from this hack. Nintendo was not intending on releasing these until at least December 10th 2012."

Do you think this is real? And would you be interested in any of these games?

pokemon and MGS would be amazing with the gamepad if they use it as a pokedex/codec, not to sure about the others.

I also want to know about the gameplay depth in the game. looks fun but I just wanna know how long it will last (especially in solo play).

#133330 Looking for complete playthrough of NintendoLand attractions.

Posted by ianh05 on 19 November 2012 - 07:18 AM in Wii U Games and Software

I've been watching a number of live streams over the past 24+ hours and none have really covered much of the later levels in the attractions in NintendoLand. Has any attraction apart from DK's Crash Course been beaten yet? if so where can I find some full attraction playthrough?

Would love to see just how tough the mini-games get :)

#133036 Are people over-criticizing the Wii U?

Posted by ianh05 on 18 November 2012 - 11:03 PM in Wii U Hardware

Instead of reading reviews, watch people play it. People who I have been watching on twitch tv are having a blast with the Wii U.

#132779 Zombi u Destructiond review

Posted by ianh05 on 18 November 2012 - 05:45 PM in Wii U Games and Software

ZombiU is getting very mixed reviews. Seems like the kind of game you need to judge for yourself.

If you know what it is meant to be you won't be let down, if you expect a run and gun action-packed shooter you shouldn't buy the game. It's nowhere near perfect with melee combat lacking animations and combos but it is a solid survival horror game.

#131770 What game should I get?

ZombiU > Black ops 2 if you like survival horror, if you just want run and gun action get Tank! Tank! Tank! :P

#131767 A Cheesy Unboxing Video by Moi

Posted by ianh05 on 17 November 2012 - 07:40 PM in Wii U Games and Software

came here expecting cheese to be unboxed, left disappointed :(

JK nice to see the ports getting attention, make sure you give some review of how the gamepad functions play with the game.

#131764 IGN reviews ZombiU

Posted by ianh05 on 17 November 2012 - 07:36 PM in Wii U Games and Software

O god this isent good maybbe ubisoft told them to take it down cause the game sucks I hope this is not red steal all over again my copy of zombie u shipped too. Ign just played a recent build at the end of october and called it the wii u killer up so wtf happened to the game. I thought nintendo power gave it a 9

Ubisoft told them to take it down most likely cause the embargo is still active for ZombiU. Don't take that gamespot review seriously either, the guy is a terrible reviewer who doesn't know what survival horror truely is and he played it on chicken mode (easy).

#131699 Gamespot ZombiU review

Posted by ianh05 on 17 November 2012 - 05:55 PM in Wii U Games and Software

I guess when the zombie apocalypse hits we will all be carrying loads of weapons and ammo lmao, this guy should be fired.

#131577 Epic uses for the Wii U gamepad! (mockups and concepts)

Posted by ianh05 on 17 November 2012 - 02:54 PM in Wii U Games and Software

Some videos to build up hype :)

I included some mock-ups from around the web including some from here (hope you guys don't mind).

#131570 Gamespot ZombiU review

Posted by ianh05 on 17 November 2012 - 02:43 PM in Wii U Games and Software

they need review sites for each of the big 3, you can't really get impartial reviewers any more so you might as well divide them up into fanboy groups in order to avoid down rating. If you want true impartial reviews go to classic game room or gamester81 etc. guys who collect and have been playing games for a long time (people who love games instead of paychecks).

#130979 Mass Effect 3 WiiU port have technical issues

Posted by ianh05 on 16 November 2012 - 02:54 PM in Wii U Games and Software

Its almost like EA is trying to screw Nintendo over on purpose!

#130612 Nintendo has some aces up it's sleeve's for Wii U at E3 2013?

Posted by ianh05 on 16 November 2012 - 05:13 AM in Wii U Games and Software

I'm not sure if this has been discussed yet, but do you all think Nintendo is going to have an amazing E3 next year? The new PS3/360 could both be announced at E3 and that puts Nintendo in a bit of a pickle unless....they have some amazing games to show off.

What games could save Nintendo at next years E3? for me there are a couple of major ones that would automatically win against anything sony and microsoft bring out and they are Pokemon and Zelda.

Here's my idea for the pokemon game that could shine on Wii U and really deal a blow to the other systems:

Pokemon Worlds - Imagine all the pokemon so far in the same game, every region and every gym leader. Start out in Kanto and work your way to the other regions. The main feature the gamepad would be used for is the pokedex, the gamepad can display the pokedex while you play and you can scan on screen pokemon with it and have the gamepads speakers tell you about the pokemon etc.
