The only thing I like about the iPhone is it's aesthetics. Other than that, an Android phone it is. Currently I have a HTC Sensation and am very happy with it.

I can't exactly see anything else out of this aside from an act of desperation. Sure it's a way to get the word out to get a Vita (which is what SONY needs), but with such a pushy grammatical tone as well as an incentive that seems rash at best....?

I would assume that it's dependent on the game. On Assassin's Creed III the character begins to move when the stick is about half-way then starts to walk faster when it reaches the edge. On Nintendo Land when you're in the main area it will move once it's tiled even in the tiniest bit.

I'm assuming it'll be a resistive touchscreen as you are able to use a stylus for it as seen in the Wii U Announcement trailer.
It would be awesome if it where a resistive, multi-touch, haptic touchscreen but I think I'm just asking for too much.

The fact that you can use the touchscreen as a drawing pad will automatically deny any thoughts of them using capacitive screens.
As for the multi-touch, as Hinkik mentioned, it is possible on a resistive screen as the Samsung Note has done it recently.
Hopefully Nintendo does this as almost EVERY touchscreen is multi-touch.

Right... because NOBODY uses their iPhone for playing games... oh wait!
I never said nobody uses capacitive touchscreens to game, but rather you shouldn't because through my own experience.... it sucks.
But yea, everyone has their own preference and experience with the hardware.

The Wii U cloud is currently in development but will launch sometime in 2013 in Japan, followed by a worldwide roll-out. Nintendo is reportedly working with Seattle, WA-based Mozy, Inc., which has been offering cloud and backup storage for consumers since 2005. A source from within Mozy tells Wii U Daily that the company was approached by Nintendo in 2010, but that work on the service began in late 2012. The Wii U cloud will be seamlessly integrated into the Wii U channels and will be tied to the specific Wii U user account.

You would assume that people would automatically believe this is on the Wii U since it is part of it's OS.
MiiVerse is also integrated with the menu interface from what I see.
