It's weird that the regional differences carry over onto the digital stuff too. I wouldn't have thought there'd be any reason to have the US release be later.

Yep. The non-Japanese sales outnumbered the Japanese sales by a fair way. We'll almost definitely be getting this. Now we just need them to announce FF Explorers and DQ7.

My desire to play Xenoblade Chronicles on the gamepad ended up overwhelming my need for a shooter. Especially with Mario Maker coming out so soon, I don't think I'll have time for this :-| Probably wait for a sale.

I'd seen that. Such a weird arrangement. But better than nothing I guess. If the port reviews well, I'll definitely get it. For saying the Vita was almost made for shooters, there are a depressing lack of them on the platform.

Haven't played a Doom game since Doom 1 back in the early 90s. I did enjoy that this actually looks like those original games though, in its pace and style. Just ridiculous kinda Mortal Kombat style gore, which is an important part of any civil society :-)

Yeah, I just saw this posted on Vita sites. I'll almost definitely get it, although probably the Vita version, as it does tick a lot of my boxes.

The art style is great and the environmental design reminds of something like Final Fantasy tactics, which is a surefire way to grab my attention certainly.

My only negative so far is that the combat looks rather dull.

As unbearable as that girl's voice was in that video, this looks like a rather nice addition.

I too enjoyed Colony 6 as a sidequest. Great idea.

I'm not an expert on such things but I would've thought the technical barrier to emulation is actually tied to the fact that dedicated hardware-based functions are just in principle faster than software. Rather than people just struggle to efficiently reverse engineer the software. Although obviously that does play a part too.

Look there's no secret to what makes a good Zelda Dungeon, it takes plenty of patience and creative ideas.

Yeah, but how much did they invest in that 3DS game. It's probably the most graphically advanced game on the system. And it's only sold around 1 mil. I'm guessing they were hoping for a bit more.

It's not really worth getting for the upgraded processor and memory. That seems like it'll probably just be a gimmick at this point.

The c-stick works well in quite a few games though! And the stable 3D is excellent.

If it's not on the PS4 level then it needs to have some incredible hardware features or there's just no point ditching the Wii U.

Wow it is £15. That's pretty awesome. I'll just wait for a few reviews to check it's not an absolute mess, then I'll definitely be getting this! 

I find myself agreeing with whats-his-name in the gamexplain video. This started off as a bit "meh" for me, but they've really piled on the cool features that it looks like it'll be quite good.

I might get just for the sake of playing other people's levels tbh.

And yes, I am also affronted by the racism. It's why my well-known character avatar just avoids having skin altogether, best to avoid offending people with such things.
