I just went to my local GameStop and saw the wii u for the first time. I pre ordered a delux based on the videos and trailers but had it in my hands today..... I was blown away by how great the controller felt in my hands. I consider myself a hardcore gamer I own ps3, 360, vita and have had pretty much every system that has come out since NES. Immediately after my Rayman demo I paid off zombieU, black ops 2 and Mario. My only concern is the game pad graphics seemed dull compared to what was on the tv. Anyone else notice that??

Hey forums, just getting around to introduce myself. I
I just went to my local GameStop today and saw the wii u for the first time. I pre ordered a delux based on the videos and trailers but had it in my hands today..... I already have a deluxe pre ordered at GameStop. Then while in target I saw a guy putting their pre orders out today. I pre ordered two more just in case. I'll throw a couple on eBay closer to Christmas to pay for more games!!

Im having the same issue. Im getting zombi U and Mario. i already have black ops 2 pre order for 360. Maybe ill stick with those two then decide later. Theres too many games coming out right now

I just got back from GameStop. I bought a new wiimote with the motion plus inside. The box is branded WII U but the sync button isn't on the outside like its support to be. WTF

I like the game just pissed u can't turn it off on the game pad. Put how many lives I have or something. I have a beautiful LED tv but its hard not to play with just using the game pad. Can u turn that off?

i played mine most of the day and even had friends over to check out the Wii U also. i only have two complaints. The slowness and the fact that on games like Mario U, the gamepad replicates whats is on my TV. This should have been used to show your items because its hard not to just watch the gamepad screen. I played AC3 which IMO looks way better than my 360 version i played. Zombi U looked cool but only played for a minute (too many drinks by then). I am overall satisfied with the system and people who get big devices on launch have to understand there will be issues just like the IPHONE 3g, 4, 4s and 5, xbox 360, iPad. So i hoped i talked some of you off the ledge

That sucks because I pre ordered 3 at target. There was a huge line of people when the store opened and the store held all reserves. I strolled in at 1030am and they had mine set aside. Plus I got the $5 gift cards. I think the people at your store sold yours because I was told they are required to hold pre orders.

I rented the 360 version and liked and and bought the wii U version and its way better. The graphics are more crisp. The game pad is taking some getting used to but other than that its better IMO

I was hesitating opening my copy because of the reviews. I took and chance and couldn't have been happier. It's awesome when the guy helping u audio comes from the game pad. It's totally immersive iMO. the zombies are fast too which makes it harder. So far so good!!
