:(  We lost a legend today.  RIP

https://www.change.o...ce=action_alert

Robin Williams is already going to have a character in World of Warcraft made in his memory. Now Nintendo fans have started a petition to have a character named after him in the new Legend of Zelda game. Fans will know that he named his daughter Zelda.

31,203 signatures so far. Would be really cool if Nintendo got on board with this.

Yup. It's all over facebook. I'm going to stay off of facebook for the next few days until the spam dies down. It is really unbelieveable though.

I really couldn't believe it myself. When I saw the headline on Yahoo News, I was like "Yeah right, probably just highlight to get click baits", but when it became apparent that he really did die, I was (and still am) in compete shock.

RIP Robin Williams.  :(

This is really shocking. I'm not particularly familiar with him outside of Nintendo commercials and Zelda Williams, but this is sad.

I blame his depression.

I know how Zelda feels. Went through the same thing in 2004. One of the hardest things to go through esp when it's suicide.

Was it confirmed that it was a suicide?

This statement is false. The previous statement is true.

He was battling depression and the most likely cause as it says in the link is suicide. Unless the family tells them not to they will do an autopsy for an offical cause to be sure.  If they rule it out I will change the topic name.

Probably only the third famous person who's death I've really felt :(

I think the police even released a statement saying that was what it appears to be. Considering they also said it was due to "asphyxiation" it looks like he may have hung himself :(

Yeah, seems like it was suicide from what is being said.

Really unfortunate to see him go, especially like that, but he will live on through the work he has done.

Todd Bridges called him a coward

Todd Bridges called him a coward

Had to Google that name.

I guess he'll take any attention he can get.

Haven't seen too many of his movies or sketches, but it really put me in a bad mood when I found out he committed suicide. It shows that depression can really damage someone, even the happiest and funniest people can suffer from it.

He was a legend. I can't believe he had to take his own life. I just watched Mrs. Doubtfire, too. A sad movie that was made even more sad by his passing.

Rest in piece Robin Williams.
