@Big Boss you must be used to talking to people who are much more mature than these particular 14 year-olds. They aren't malicious at all, and I know it's all in fun and I get along with them just fine, but let's just say it's not really worth trying to reason with them on this.

Once you learn how to use the Wii Remote properly for shooters, you are essentially using a keyboard and mouse. It gets downright unfair.

All you can do is use their ability to get early access to the games to look at screens, or video (of them playing horribly and misrepresenting the game) to try and judge if its something you like. Your best bet is by far the gaming community.

Ryse, Killzone, Knack, and Dead Rising 3 are pretty much what I expected them to be: showcases. Sort of like F-Zero on SNES, Luigi's Mansion, and Dead Rising 1. The thing is, those games were actually fun also.

When I get a PS4 I will get Killzone, but only because I'm still a bit interested in Killzone now. Battlefield would be my go-to shooter otherwise.
