It's the same arguement on why someone would read a book compared to watching a movie and vice versa. Hell, 15 years from now all games now will be aged no matter if the graphics are as weakas a 360 or as powerful as a high end PC.

Planet-Side 2 is coming to PS4 I think this gen will be the beggining of MMOS on home consoles i know we already have them but I think this will become the new FPS trend

Because people want a console sequel, and if a sequel is released on a handheld when the first was on a console, people immediately assume its just a side game. I'm not saying I'm one of these people, I'm just answering your question. I just want another Okami.
