Hmm...the reviews for the Elgato seem to be better on Amazon, at least.

Yeah the Elgato is a little on the pricey side, but I dont have any complaints or regrets

I've actually heard a lot of bad things about Elgato cards. Mostly for streaming, though. If you only want to record, Elgato is probably fine.
