LOL, I think politics are one of the worst things on the news. The constant whining of people who aren't in power drives me nuts.

There are some minor benefits, such as releasing foreshadowing, but it's like a book. You realize little deteails that were hinted at, but you still find it as enjoyable as before.
But yeah, it's worth the money. My personal Favourite puzzle/VN game. Better then Phoenix Wright
