Because their boring dry dante now has black hair, a cheesy fun personality, and edge. Also dubstep.
Minus the quicktime events and some of the soundtrack, there is nothing wrong with DMC. You will only have a problem if you take it seriously and not see it as silly.

Dont know. I stopped playing DmC after the people who made it left to form platinum and the abomination that was DmC 2 was born.

Because the developers made some crappy design decisions (30 FPS? Really?), because the new Dante is an insufferably obnoxious character, because the storyline is so bad it's funny and because the combat system is super simplified in comparison to even the original DMC.
Because it's developed by Ninja Theory, basically.

Oh man. Hard is nothing, its just double damage. Very hard... thats where it gets real. Remember how all the other enemies would usually watch on the sidelines as you beat the crud outta another one? No. Dog piles now.
