Iwata and the Nintendo business. I am excited for the future of Nintendo and we'll see how DeNA and the NX playout, along with the sustainability of Amiibo since all of these things were well underway with Iwata under the reigns. I am sad but happy to see the brighter future

I'm shocked. I didn't expect Iwata to pass for like, atleast another 20 years. That man was a good portion of my childhood. RIP Iwata. Please understand in heaven, direct to you.

I know. After them saying he was recovering, I didn't expect anything to happen for a long while. This is one of those things that just, like, can't happen. :(

Can we talk about how amazing of a programmer he was? He single-handedly reprogrammed Earthbound, coded the Pokemon Stadium battle system without any important documents, compressed Gold and Silver so it took nearly half as much space as it normally would allowing for Kanto to be in the game, and is the reason that Melee was able to release on time, among other accomplishments. He is a legend.
