Who will win? Only PS2 games count here (no future trilogy stuff or sly 4 counts, I mean in terms of the PS2 games which one is best)
IMO Sly 1 wins Sly 1 R&C1 and J&D1
Sly 2 wins Sly 2 R&C2 and Jak 2
Jak 3 wins jak 3 sly 3 and R&C3
overall I think sly was the best franchise
what are your opinions?.

While I have to admit, I'm rather biased here since I've only play the Sly series out of these three, I have to say that the Sly games (easpecially 2) made the PS2 one of my favorite systems of all time. I just hope I don't have to wait another seven years before Sly 5 releases. :P

I think the Ratchet and Clank Trilogy (along with Gladiator/Deadlocked) was the whole reason I wanted a PS2. It was just that much fun...

Sly cooper, I absolutely love the sly series, I love being a thief and sneaking around all the time. The new one is amazing, and it runs at 60 frames.

I prefer Jak & Daxter though I have only played the first two and am yet to finish the second... I prefer the first to the second.

This statement is false. The previous statement is true.

RIP in peace Nintendo.

Jak II is like GTA before GTA.... sorta.

Even though I did play the original on PSOne before it, but still.

Ratchet and Clank was great, definitely one of my favourite PS2 games. I think i played it first on the demo disc that came with my PS2. I dont know about any of the games after the first three though, I never played any of them.

I really did enjoy how imaginative the original trilogy felt.
Yeah, it gave me feels when I first saw it.

Yeah I agree. I think it's a shame that (imo anyway) most modern games cannot even nearly match the originality and imagination of a lot of these PS1/PS2 games.

Im going to go with Sly Cooper since it's still on-going unlike Jak and Daxter and didn't get watered down like Ratchet and Clank.

Ratchet and clank for me. At least back on ps2, before it became crap.

^This
In my opinion they forked the series when they made Tools of destruction, the humor became light and dry compared to the gritty and edgy humor of the PS2 games, the difficulty was too easy, and the overall music became repetitive(IMO since i hate orchestra)

Even the character designs became sh!t i mean comparing classic Ratchet to new Ratchet is like comparing classic Crash to new Crash

They are all great games. I would have to say my favorite is the Sly series, but I kind of grew up with playing all of them so they all have a soft spot inside my heart. I think my favorite sly game is first one, just because I remember playing that one the most. I enjoyed the first Jak and Daxter game the most as well. As for Ratchet and Clank, I can't really decide, since I haven't played all of them.

Well, they all have HD trilogies now, and I know you have a PS3. The ability to choose is closer than you think.

Ratchet and Clank followed by Sly. I have not played the Jak and Daxter games, though I do plan on it.
