Amen.

You don't turn the most hated gaming publisher into an EVEN MORE hated company and survive.

Dude had an ego.  Had to go bye bye.

From trying to bully Nintendo to presiding over more than a couple major missteps recently, no one is going to miss him.

Now hopefully we will see the games as the developers intended and on the platforms they intended.

Since they have a new CEO, they better stop being butthurt of Origin not coming to Wii U and publish games for it.

Also:

Sort out DLC/microtransactions

Increase the overall quality of their games

gamz girnalizm all da way

Dude.  He is the CEO. Not just some board member. He was actively heavily involved in every major decision, from boardroom concept to day to day making it happen.

He had nothing to do with those things like Steve Jobs had nothing to do with the iPhone.

The Captain is always responsible for the course the ship decides to take

If he wasnt directly behind the Nintendo dilemma he should have been their rectifying the mistake made by whoever's fault it was

This either means that EA will stop becoming butt-hurt Daisyes OR that the new CEO will be even worse.

I'm hoping there is a faint chance that Crysis 3 will be reinstated with a special edition on the Wii U

That would be sweet.

It did seem like EA sabatoged that on purpose, since it would be the only game that would be sold simultaneously as well as having potential to show off the wii U next gen power.  It looks outstanding on 360. and that is coming down from the PC version, which the Wii U would look like.

Seems they were fine with ports than didn't exceed the old consoles or ports that had already been played out on other systems.

I think whoever takes over the company will want to carve their own destiny into the EA brand. So I'm expecting them to possibly make things better for Nintendo to prove that EA can make money from the system either by selling to a large percentage of Wii U owners or by increasing the amount of Wii U sales by attracting new gamers to the console in order to make money out of them, or they'll reinstate the Dead Space series or some older EA games that were cut down before their time, as well as maybe cutting down other franchises. However I also feel he or she will want to prove that EA as a company has made right decisions too, and so I think micro-transactions etc will probably be there to stay.

I hope this new CEO green lights the crysis3 that was running on Wii U and according to developers pretty much finished and ready to be shipped.

This is great news, I guess the board saw the writing on the wall, and someone had to take the fall for all of the recent missteps.

This is very interesting, lets hope this next guy makes some positive decisions for us, maybe Wii U support? But I hope John Ricitello gets a good job though, I hope he can get back on his feet quickly.
