Well, I never got the game myself the first time around, so I might get it, if only to convince Square to bring more of their games to the Wii U.
Specifically games with the words Final and Fantasy.

Deus Ex will support off-TV play.
First off, and perhaps most importantly, Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Dircetor's Cut will support off-TV play using the Wii U Gamepad. The Gamepad will also allow you to record your own "infologs" containing screenshots, voice recordings, drawings and notes as you play the game. You'll be able to share these infologs with other Wii U owners using Nintendo's Miiverse social network.

Whilst I'm against just porting over already released games just to provide support for the console at least like Criterion they are putting the effort to improve, enhance and add Wii U specific features. I never got around to playing it on the other platforms I may pick it up although I will probably wait for a price drop.
