alien, ea lies, metro last night... latest western dev announcements.  (it was 2011 E3) and major games like pikmin 3, etc, are not out yet... they will come after 2013 e3!!!  They showed pikmin at 2011, they showed pikmin at 2012... they cant show us pikmin at 2013 also!...

 

To be honest I was about to do the same thing with this year's E3.... to cancel it totally and make many direct hypes.. also let the developers show their games for my system in standalone presentations (ubisoft, etc)... 

 

But one major concern of mine.. are we going to see any presentation from Monolith or Retro? thats bad.... They have to hype the system.

um Pikmin wasn't shown at 2011. Miyamoto even told said at the beginning of the roundtable not to mention it cuz he wouldn't comment

I see this as a good thing: like I've said before, E3 was never about the gamer: it was about the investor. Yes, they do cater to the gamer, but if it was mainly for the gamer, do you think games like Just Dance or Wii Fit would even get a mention, let alone stage time, or the fact that every Microsoft E3 since 2009 has been all about Kinect? They show off those games because those were the ones that get in non gaming articles, which the casual sees more (and there are a lot more casuals than hardcore).

This way, they will be able to show it off to the gamer, so it will be all games and no bull$#!t PR talk, because gamers want games, and not statistics.
