For me only certain games, NSMB works fine but when i play Injustice I hear it spinning louder.

It's a bit loud but not as bad as the Xbox. If the game is silent you can hear it a bit but most of the time the sound of the game blocks it out.

Wait the Wii U makes noise o.0
Meh, my Wii U is on the other side of the room, i never hear it do anything. (Besides lately, after the update every time it loads the main screen the fan turns loud for a few seconds)
Well, I've finally found my Starfox, and I love it.

I was once known here as KillerMario, but since I really like Banjo-Kazooie, I changed my display name to show them my respect

To tell the truth i never heard the drive make any noise.
Maybe when i first got it.
But its probably just because its not lound. I use to have an old xbox (the white 360) and tho things where loud just booting up.
But now i got a ps3, wii, xbox 360 slim and the wii u. And everything seems about the same as far as noise.
but probably just me.
And i got cod bo2, AC3, nintendo land and zombiu.

I've never noticed any noises from my Wii U. Mind you, I'm never sitting really close to it while I play.

I really don't hear it at all, only when the console starts up. It's practically silent for most games. But while playing games like MH3U and Skylanders Giants, I can slightly hear the drive, likely due to the games having large open worlds.

It's a little loud, but when I'm playing a game I do not notice any sound (I play my Wii U quite loud).
It's about the same as my Blu-Ray player (that thing is too loud).

Got used to my Wii's noise - Oh god, it made so much noise! - so I don't really notice when the Wii U gets loud.

Don't complain about the Wii U, it's quiet compared to the Wii. The Wii sounded like a fricking parade right in my bedroom.
Bleh eh eh.

Not too bad actually, 1000000 times better than my 360 though, God that thing sounded like my lawnmower was doing naughty things to a jet engine.

It's pretty quiet, I never hear anything.

On a scale of the who's down in whoville to a howling hyena with a hernia I'd have to say that my wii u disc drive is about as loud as a man being smothered by 2 very large goose down pillows.

the problem of the noise is the disc drive. the wii u dosent make too much noise.
