$10 says that they were developing for the Wii U in the first place, and all the commentary thus far has been opinionated or misinformed miscommunications.
Twitter is a rainbowhole. Take every comment that comes out of it with a grain of salt, as nothing that does pop out of there could ever be counted as an official statement.
I honestly did find it hard to believe that EA dropped the Wii U completely at any point. They already knew giving up on it works poorly on them, considering they literally were handpicked to work on the consoles networking options, or something to that effect.

Not that i cared to begin with, but does it really matter? what of theirs is really worth it?
After all these fiascos, are we really suppose to believe they're going to put any real effort to make a quality game? much less a quality port, which is likely all they have planned....
