KINGDOM HEARTS 3.

 

OH MY GOD.

Final Fantasy XV by far for me. 

 

This is what next gen should look like.

 

The cutscenes are great...

 

but the gameplay does not look too hot. the difference is a bit jarring.

 

Especially considering the tight quarters inside and the on-rails business outside.

 

looks like it was made for PS3 and bumped up.

 

Take away the cutscenes and... it looks pretty tame. 

 

The rotating camera angles is a nice touch in a couple of scenes, but it doesn't look like a PS4 game.  the large monsters aren't very detailed.  Perhaps this game started on X1? LOL

 

After seeing Square's tech demo last year, i really wanted the actual game to look like that.  but it appears that quality is only in the cutscenes, like all FF games.

 

And these gripes are only concerning the visuals on a technical 3D level.  Not the things that macadamia it up like camera angles, composition, timing, etc. those are terrific.  And the story looks interesting as well.
