I knew it!!! I just knew it!! I told my brother all week that they were gonna show a ''new'' character on the 11 or 12 of june!!

He was in brawl, why are you soooooo excited? He was probably the worst character too.. This comes as bad news for me.

I love pikmin as a game,and I find Olimar a really lovable character, and the pikmins too of course!
I don't really play as him that much in Brawl, but I really enjoy that he's there because he represents a really great francise. I love brawling him and his part in the SSE was very enjoyable! Far from worst

Why is everyone so surprised, it was kinda obvious he was coming back anyway, seeing as he is a popular character from a popular franchise.

I'm just surprised we got something new. I thought we'd had to wait for another Nintendo Direct to see more characters. 
I heard Olimar has a thing for the Wii U Fit Trainer.

Looks like the stage is from Pikmin 3, you can see the new ship in the background of the last screenshot. Looks like he won't be getting Pink or Rock type though.

You never know, they might've not shown them deliberately to surprise us later, maybe?

Worst character? Looks like you need to play against someone who can actually play with Olimar, like me. I'll show you how horrible he is. As for it being bad news, I guess having more characters in the game is bad news?

I mained Olimar in Brawl, so I'm very happy he's back. I hope he remains unchanged except with the changes of the amount of Pikmin

Hmm, Olimar still uses white and purple Pikmin...
Because of that and the fact Olimar was the first veteran confirmed post-E3, I think the chances of Pikmin getting a second rep (one that would use rock and flying pikmin) are not to shabby
