Pardon me guys, but.. Why is it 90$ ?
I noticed that Wii games, even pre-owned ones are a little more expensive than those for PS3 or 360.
Supply and demand.
It appears there is truth to what Nintendo has said regaurding their used games policy. Make better games, and people wont sell them.
Many Nintendo games simply arent sold off, but rather kept in collections. Since you cant buy very many used, retailers often keep selling them at full price years after release, and since that happens, used game stores can sell the few that are sold back to them for higher prices.
Xenoblade in particular only had a small limited print. It was a rare game, and very few people wanted to trade in the experience. Theyd rather fondly replay it years later. But people soon started to realize it was an amazing game, and attempted to get it... But it was too late, the print run was over, there were no more in stores, people werent selling it. With demand high and supply low, people were selling it for 200+ on ebay.
Gamestop saw this and took action. They began offering $75 trade in value to people whou would trade in the game, then marked it up 30 bucks to sell them again.
ps360 games on the otherhand, appear to lose value very quickly. People by them them heavily, and then resell them heavily weeks later, apparantly, they just dont have the kind of enjoyment value that makes people want to experience them again later. With tons of the product back on shelves, and demand low, its sold for very cheap.
