I`m hopin for $299,but would be willing to pay up to $349 as long as Nintendo Land is packed in!!!!! will buy NSMBU,ZombiU,and undecided on what my 3rd game will be.

I really wan't to get it at launch or a couple days within the launch. So I'm really hoping it will be $299 / $300. I'll have to wait a little longer if it ends up being $349 / $350

I can dig $249, but anything more than that is going to be a tough sell.

I'm thinking it will be $299, but I don't think $350 would be a bad price for what you'd be getting. However, it will be a tough sale when mom and dad can buy a cheaper 360 or PS3. Some will probably not want to touch this due to the shovelware the Wii was prone to throwing at the masses. I just hope the Wii U sales well.

$350 (U.S.) sounds about right. I really hope they can hit the $299.99 price mark tho. I know that would make ME feel better.

That Wii U game pad looks somewhat expensive. Not to mention the high tech specs of the console itself. I want to believe that it will be $299.99, Max $349.99

I'm assuming anywhere between $249-$299. I would be somewhat surprised is it's any higher than $349, as that would contradict Nintendo's price statement and would really be unlike them (3DS issues aside). Honestly, my nostalgia would be surprised if it surpassed $299, but I need to be realistic. ;~;

If it's $250-300 my cheap radar will go off and detect that this probably isnt gonna be a very powerful machine.

so even though i dont want to pay more than $300 at least i would know that its actually gonna be pretty damn strong in the hardware department if its more that $300.

This is a good point.

Thing is, Nintendo goes for the innovative factor before graphical. HD graphics is really an incentive to Nintendo, but they know SOME people care more for graphics than gameplay, so they try to net a bigger audience this time around. If the Wii U is even on par with PS360, it would mean using older technology and not really costing that much to manufacture each console.

A new system using older technology shouldn't have to be pricey to say much.
