And oh year, the download size is 2.6 GB

The decreased bloom is definitely noticeable to me, I wonder why they lowered the graphics

I am the foot. I do not like you. You smother me with socks and shoes, then step on me thousands of times a day.

We foot will rebel one day.

Probably because the bloom was almost freaking blinding. HD doesn't mean so bright you can't play.

Some people always have a cellphone on them. I'm so awesome I always have a 3DS.

It still looks pretty good to me. Not sure I like the transparent sail however.

The sail was always transparent from a certain distance.

The transparancy changed depending on direction and proximity to the camera.

Anyone else notice what I think is the Tower of the gods in the background of the second pic?

I didn't mind the bloom tbh, but I know some people did. Maybe there will be a setting you cam change, but I'm not counting on it, nor do I really care.

Yeah... the decreased bloom shots definitely look worse to me.

The shadows and lighting just look a lot worse imo :/

I couldn't even tell that the first ww picture with decreased bloom was the wii u version

Hmm... I can't say for sure which I like better... I think IMO the bloomier (is that a word? lol) shots are better. But I do like the fact that the HUD size is decreased.

Wow they actually did it. That was the one thing the bugged the crap out of me. The sky, water and grass  looked too unatural.

Very happy with this game now.

The bloom was a tad harsh on the eyes but i wouldn't have really cared if they scaled in back. I am rather surprised about the file size, i would have bet on at least 4GB. All though the game looks great i do feel it wouldn't have hurt to add some more polygons to some of the features in the level, those rocks on windfall island look a tad jagged (which i know is done of purpose to suit the artstyle but not so much here) but thats just my opinion. I'm not really seeing incentive to play it a second time round but for those who haven't played this really shouldn't miss the opportunity, trust me, you will be glad you picked this up.

Eh, 4Gb? Its almost if not completely asset identical to the cube version. Those rocks arent jagged for art style, they are gamecube era assets. Just stuff like updated lighting/shading models, and maybe(?) original textures left on disc uncompressed.

The original ww was 1.35 Gb

I'm not sure I'm noticing a reduction in bloom (an overused, last gen technique).

But I'm definitely noticing more details due to increased transparency in textures and particle effects. This also has allowed the draw distance to increase.

The lighting etc look the same. But different scene composition and camera distance make a visual impact as well.

It's going to be just fine. Even better.

Smaller HUD and less bloom?

This is actually good news! Because I hate too much bloom and I hate big HUDs.
