Also check out Campione!, Oda Nobuna Na Yabou and Hagure Yuusha No Estetica for other current battle anime types.
Oh yeah, I'm also watching Kokoro Connect. That's actually pretty cool.

I may sound extremely mainstream, but I'm totally into One Piece. Such a good show. Sometimes moving, sometimes really funny, and, most of all, MESSED UP. I recommand it to everyone, but I guess everyone is already following it...

I still think that the admin is trolling everyone with the concept of death.
They've been in there for 2 years, if it was a troll, real world would have pulled them out a long time ago.

Chapter 16.5 is not part of the novel, it's kind of... canon fanfiction.

Eh... I need to stop watching random episodes of DBZ online. I still haven't finished Girlfriend X or Korean Zombie. It's bad enough that I am also getting ready to watch Sola and all of Ranma 1/2.

I don't like anime, but Berserk (both manga and anime) is just awesome.
Also when I was a kid I loved watching Grendizer, not sure if anyone remembers it.

An recommendations out there for a guy who hasn't dabbled too much in anime, I watched all of death note and loved it, (and then of course i watched pokemon) but if anyone has any recommendations for me to something similar to the dark mature death note theme then i would appreciate it 
(also at Nollog I tried watching Kaiba and got thru 4 of the 8 episodes but it was a little out there for my taste but thankyou )

Well, I have gone against my younger self, watching anime I would have deemed as crap when I was younger.
I am currently watching season 3 of Ranma 1/2. I feel bad saying this, but it's not bad at all... It's no masterpiece, though.

Eh... I recommend Kino's Journey to everyone, but something similar to Death Note besides Code Geass... Eh... Why not try Paranoia Agent?
