Ryse still looks like garbage.

Ryse looked pretty cool until I realized that it was "QTE: Roman Edition: The Game"

Remember when everyone thought these systems will be able to match max spec PC at 1080p at 60 FPS? Good times.
Unfortunately, a lot of Sony fanboys still think their precious PS4 can.

Quick Time Event: the act of needing to press a button or series of buttons in a short amount of time in order to continue with an action. Failure to do so will cause you to fail the action and in many cases, need to try again. See God of War, Heavy Rain, and Resident Evil 4 for examples.QTE?

You obviously haven't played the game. It looks far from garbage.
QTE isn't a major part of the game and whilst the game is not a must have AAA game its still pretty good and worth getting for anyone who has an Xbox One and likes third person action adventures but when the price comes down. Its pretty fun especially in co-op.

If the game isn't focused on quicktime events then they did an awful showing, as everywhere I go this is "Heavy Rain: Rome Edition". Also, where did they say there would be co-op?You obviously haven't played the game. It looks far from garbage.

There is co-op, but it's a wave survival-type thing.

To those saying that QTE isn't a major part of the game: http://www.kotaku.co...ing-game-of-e3/
From how it's explained here, every single kill in the game is a QTE, even to the point that the game lets you continue even if you miss the button press.
Quoth the article:
I’m on the battlefield. I’m stomping through the corpses of my comrades swinging my sword at anything that moves. I begin a combo, I slash twice and then whooom slow motion is initiated, rainbow is about to get ‘cinematic’. A button prompt hovers elusively above the sword I’m about to drive into the throat of my enemy… argh I’m too slow! The prompt flickers, disappears.I missed it. Damn.
But then somehow, for some reason, I still complete the cinematic ‘kill’.
What?
Maybe it’s a bug I think, but no. Next time I deliberately press the wrong button. The kill goes ahead, no consequences. Then I try hitting no buttons whatsoever. The kill goes ahead. I put the controller on the table in front of me, the kill goes ahead.
What is going on here?
I ask one of the Crytek people hovering at the booth – is this a bug? Why am I completing kills when I hit the wrong button prompt? Or, worse, no button at all. Turns out it was a deliberate design choice.
“We don’t want the player to feel frustrated,” I am told.
Yeah. Sounds like a great "action" game.
