AC4 will sell more at the moment, but Super Mario 3D World will have long-lasting legs.

They seem to be coming out hard on the dates for the new systems.
Not sure it will work. That week I am buying Knack, Killzone, and Watchdogs.
No time for another Mario.

I am not against Mario. But I have played plenty of it in the past.
I have never played Knack, Watchdogs, or Killzone. I am much more excited about those experiences. Not sure when I will be getting Mario 3d World. May be awhile.

Completely turned my opinion round.
Didn't like the first trailer that much and was debating on whether or not to get it.
After this trailer hot damn pre ordering tomorrow, it's looks fantastic.

After seeing the new trailer, I'm impressed with 3D World. I was gonna get it anyway, because the game would be fun regardless if it changed things up or not. But this trailer really shows how Nintendo's trying to change things up with Mario. Vastly different from most first impressions.

No, I knew it was a new game. But from the E3 demo I played at Best Buy and the trailers, it didn't look like it was changing things up much. As the only new things I can remember from the E3 stuff were the dragon boss (unlike 3D Land where every boss was Boom Boom/Pom Pom and Bowser), cat suit, and that level showing . Today's trailer showed off significant additions and changes to the formula. With the new power ups, plot (not that big of a change. With Bowser still being the main villain and kidnapping people. But at least they changed it and the setting) level themes, enemies and bosses.

on the basic level its the same, with minor changes. im still waiting on a mario game closer to sunshine and 64.

its a 3d, 2d mechanic style mario, like 3dland, which is awesome, but wont fill the need adventure style mario fans have.

People didn't know this? I have it listed in my calendar months ago and it is released the same day a Link Between Worlds and Mario Party!
Hey I'm a huge mario, Zelda, and smash bros junkie, have a Wii U and 3DS and I can't upload some sweet box art concept for super smash bros
