Nintendo wins by default because they have Monolith Soft.

You should add a poll.
Don't expect an answer for me, it's gonna be obvious.
Sony

Nintendo. Out of the list of Sony studios, only games I'd play are Ratchet and Clank.
Some people always have a cellphone on them. I'm so awesome I always have a 3DS.

Personally, it's a tie. Yes, Sony has more franchises that I enjoy, but I tend to enjoy Nintendo's franchises more.

I would say Nintendo but I feel like that's more because I've actually played most of the games on their side but barely any games that Sony makes.

I can't possibly choose between them. They both have some fantastic studios.

Nintendo doesn't own Platinum Games. Their last releases outside of W101 were Metal Gear Rising and Anarchy Reigns, which were on PS360.Nintendo and your forgetting Platinum Games with W101, Beyonetta 2.

For me Ratchet & Clank... and that's pretty much it . Sony ditched a lot of their older franchises I liked such as Ape Escape.
I do miss playing an traditional Ape Escape game. It's been about 7 years since 3 came out.
There have been news that 4 was in production awhile ago, but it vanished out of thin air.
I'm still holding out for a PS4 game, but I doubt it.
For me, that'd be Nintendo. Sony only has one franchise that I'm interested in, and the rest I don't care for.
What franchise is that?

It's a close one but I would say Nintendo, Sony makes some great games but I don't feel they are quite as rememberable as Nintendo's.

I have to choose Nintendo because that's what I grew up with and they have all of the nostalgia factor for me. My life as a gamer really began with four Nintendo 64 games: Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, Zelda: OoT, and Goldeneye 007 (I suppose this last one doesn't really count for the purposes of the thread). I'm pretty sure I could play nothing but the Mario & Zelda series for the rest of my life and be okay with that.
And again, this may just be because of my personal experience, but the Sony platformer characters don't seem as memorable or timeless as Mario & co. And to my knowledge there's nothing like the Zelda series on any other platform.
