Not getting hyped for this, I'm more interested then anything since we haven't got footage or news about MK8 since E3, more levels/characters would be nice to see.

Zelda u has no release window as far as I know, in fact I assumed windwaker HD meant we wouldn't see it til 2015. Yoshi and SMTXFIREEMBLEM don't have a date either.

 

I think Zelda`s date will depend mostly on Smash and also on what they show of Zelda during E3.
Personally i`m really anxious to see the new Zelda but i can wait for 2015.
 

SMTxFE is the game i could see coming out in 2015 as nothing was shown on it so far (Zelda is a different case because of WW HD).

X and Bayonetta 2 the two biggest reasons I'm getting a Wii U

While I'm happy to see the mention of "Wii U", considering the last two Nintendo Directs were all about the 3DS, I'm still not getting hyped.

 

While we may all want to get excited thinking about Super Smash Bros., Mario Kart, and possibly further, we have to remember that this is only for up to Spring 2014 titles. Mario Kart 8 may be shown (assuming it is still a Spring 2014 title), but probably not so much SSB4.

 

I'm expecting a mostly 3DS focused ND, with Donkey Kong tacked on. Probably advertising Cranky Kong yet again.

 

But if Nintendo wants to create hype, they have to do more than they said they will in the Direct.

I feel like you're probably spot on, which kinda sucks for everyone who owns a Wii U. ;_; Oh well, at least the 3DS is worth owning, right?

 

I'm guessing a Smash character announcement at the very least, because we still haven't had one this month, but with our luck it'll probably be Cranky. 

 

I'm still hoping for maybe some release dates, and new trailers for things like Bayonetta, X, and FE x SMT, but I'm not going to get my hopes up.

I am not to sure about nintendo doing in there last ND for months now. They keep ignoring the other game like Yoshi 3DS, SMTxFM, ect. Why keep milking the games that been show before like DKC: TF over and over again. Nintendo need to stop doing this.

For spring 2014? Wah, no X, no bayo 2, no shin megami cross fire emblem, no smash and no new game announcements

 

Hopefully we get a wii u direct announcing games to be released in 2014 and onwards at some point.

I think this can be a realy good one for Wii U.
The only games confirmed for Winter and Spring are DK and Mario Kart. Two games!

fexsmt hadn't even started development when iwata said they're thinking about a crossover, 2016 probably.
smash is 2015.

Didn`t know about that FExSMT detail. When they didn`t show it i thought it was too early, but not that early.

We haven`t seen more of Yoshi this year because the game was far off from being ready to show, let alone release. If the game releases during or after summer it would have been more than a year and half in development. Think it`s enough for that kind of game.

 

Yoshi for 3DS wasn`t going to come out this so no reason to dig deep on that one.

 

If X started development of X after Xenoblade, maybe the game is closer than 2015.

 

Smash is confirmed for this year.

 

Zelda... as i said - somewhere - can be released this year. If you see a great exposure of the title at E3 it will most likely be released next holiday.
Personally, i can wait for more Zelda in 2015.

approximately 7 minutes on DKC:TF

approximately 7 minutes on Mario Kart 8

Smash bros stuff including a character reveal (Prob a returning one)

3 minute 3rd party reel

remainder of time on 3ds

Well, X definately has a release date currently planted in 2014... Its shown up as tba 2014 on all the release sheets, its clearly stated as 2014 in the X flash banner on monolith softs official site....

HOWEVER, the game would need to be localized for western audiences, depending on how the games being created, it could either be done paralell, and come out fairly around the same time world widw, or they could monster hunter it and have it come out a year or more later .
